The Amazing, The Interesting And The Somewhat Interesting.
Hello and welcome back. I apologize for being absent last week, but it was a holiday and that means that I must shut my brain down for repairs. This of course simply means good beer, a good cigar and staring at the sky without a thought floating through my little mind. Now that the repairs have been completed and I am back in the saddle, I do have a (1) new exciting piece of news, another somewhat interesting piece of news and a simply amusing story.
I will start with the most exciting as this is well…the most exciting. I have finally gotten my book posted on Amazon Kindle. For those of you who do not have a Kindle, from my understanding, there are computer downloads that will allow you to view the book on your home computer or laptop. Now, for those of you wondering why in the hell it took so long to arrive, I will spill the beans. I had no clue how to go about it, but had the confidence of a gladiator. When I actually entered into the process, reality stuck me like the gladiator’s sword I thought I carried. All drama aside, I seriously should have researched this before. Beside the convoluted process, there is a 48-72 hour review period before it posts. I have learned a valuable lesson here. READ THE DIRECTIONS!!!!!!! Never fear though I have now learned from my experience and will get it right on chapter 2, which I will have released on Oct 1st. Just an extra note: I am going to try to place it on my Official Clay Maverick site this week. I am just not sure how to sell and electronic document through my shopping cart. I will however read the directions on this before spouting dates off with all of the false confidence of a politician. If anyone knows of another electronic venue to place the book that would be easier to obtain, let me know. I am new to this and do not know the ins and outs.
Now for the somewhat interesting piece of news. The Biggest Loser Porn Edition is still on. I, however, have done only a little more than nothing the past week. I have been going to the gym and my body is the same as my last picture, but I have not followed up with any more film companies. This week. I am going to send a photo and request to all companies this week and next week. We shall see what happens. This portion will become more interesting in the next week or so. Either I will succeed or fail miserably . Both are pretty darn entertaining.
We will end with the amusing story. In my everyday life, the one where I take of the cape and put on the glasses, I have my own design company that serves one main company. The company is a national restaurant chain. There are 5 people in this office that I have become friends with over the past year. There is an Owner, Project Manager, Shop Manager and a couple others. We were all sitting in the Project Managers office discussing the unbelievably crappy state our economy and what we would do if we rejoined the unlucky masses. It came my turn and the first job that came my way was a Stripper. They said I was just made for it. Now, nobody at this place knows anything about my past. It made me laugh that this is the first thing that they came up with. Maybe I was destined to be in the industry (first chapter of my book touches on this). I, of course, just told them that I am not below it and If the time came, I would grab the Velcro pants and hit the stage like Bon Jovi. Cheers all.

Raging Stallion
Hello all and welcome back to another installment of Biggest Loser Porn Addition. I am making this one a bit shorter than normal as I have been trying to finish up the final details on the first chapter of the serialized book. There are however a few new and interesting items to discuss. I sent out a newer picture to Raging Stallion. I have been told that they are a great company and may be a better fit for me. Thank you Chris, I finally got of my rear and contacted them. I received an email back letting me know that the contact was out of town and would contact me when he returned. Oh the suspense. What will happen? Will the challenge end or will it continue. Only fate knows. Just because this is a short post does not mean that there can not be some drama. I will post a new photo next week.
The other interesting thing is that I had spoken to an Author about the book. In the discussion he told me that writing a proposal was a great way to lay things out. The proposal basically outlines the concept of the book, and the details of the chapters with a marketing twist. This is a great way to organize the chapters and the contents of he chapters. This was immensely helpful as I am not a writer by trade. In fact writing the serialized portion first is a way to get the process started and get feed back that can be used for the book itself. I had read that writing a serialized book first is a great way to get a raw and not overly analyzed product out to a forum (you guys and who ever will read it), allowing for feed back. This feed back can and should be used in the compiling and completion of the book itself. When I read this I fully agreed and took this route. The feed back from this blog alone has been incredibly helpful. This solidifies the use of a serialized book in my mind. Once it hits the Kindle and my site, which will be any day, I hope that you all will give me your input and contribute to the final product. Cheers and I hope you all have a great week.

Oklahoma
Coming back from vacation is wonderful for the soul but a bitch for routine. I found this week to be a tough for getting back to the workout routine. I had taken about a week off of the workout because of my appearance in LA and my vacation in Key West. I must say it was good in all kinds of ways. When vacation was over and the workouts resumed, I found that my motivation was down; this is actually fine because you are supposed to ease back into things. I did miss one days’ workout and the fact that I went off track stung just enough to shoot me back on track.
Now I know that the workout story this week was a little week, hell, I will go as far as it sucked. Unfortunately life is not a thrill a moment. I will however tell a story of the old times. I thought that I would throw in a drug story as these are always entertaining.
I think I was in Oklahoma for a show. I had arrived at the bar and immediately had a funny feeling. I had been in some bars that were a little off, but the people here seemed more off than normal. Any how, I went to the hotel and prepared for the show. I of course had a cigarette or two along with some powdered sugar on the old donuts (code words). Needless to say that my stress level was low and my energy was high. The owner of the club had called to let me know that my ride would be there and that I needed to be ready. I was. Oh yes I was.
Once I arrived at the club I felt even more uncomfortable, which is odd considering the cigarettes and doughnuts I had before. This bar was long and narrow, with a stage on the middle of the wall apposite the bar. The bar had an old west feel complete with the musty smell and hardwood floors. My time came to jump on stage and shake my money maker. Feeing as good as I did, I of course thought that a few beers would help wash down those dry powdered doughnuts. I waved my hand like any star expecting the magical beer to materialize because that is the way is works. Right? Any ways the beer did appear, handed to me by this nice (butt wipe) gentleman. I took a couple of belts, continued dancing. My arm started to feel numb, my legs a bit rubbery and my body all off a 100 pounds heavier. I had been slipped the date rape drug. Once I realized it I laughed a little as I had taken this for fun before and kind of enjoyed it. After about a minute or two I came to the conclusion that he must have put an ass load of the stuff in my drink because I had digested all of the doughnuts and was going down for the count. I looked around and realized that if I did not do something soon I could wake up in the some kind of deliverance dungeon.
I looked around and saw a door that led to a liquor room at the back of the bar. I knew this because I had looked around earlier for a place to eat doughnuts. I walked back to the room, which was long, but only about five feet deep. I opened the door, placed by head against the door and my feet against the opposite wall, figuring I would act as a wedge. For an hour or so I could feel people push on the door and calj my name. I could not move nor did I care to. Once I was sobered enough. I opened the door walked out and did not stop until I got to the hotel.
Now three things are interesting here. 1. What was the perspective of the audience? Imagine you are at a show and the performer just gets up, walks to the back and barricades himself in the liquor room. 2. I had done this to myself before for fun and 3. I was not that disturbed by it.

Numero Uno
So I have completed the first appearance of my comeback. This was at Mickey’s in LA. I must say that this experience exceeded my expectations. The venue, the owners and the audience were great. I felt both welcomed and at ease. In speaking with Chris (my contact and liaison) I had an idea of what the format would be. I was told that the night would be relaxed and not involving any dancing. I would be upstairs on a small intimate stage interviewing with Scott. We would discuss many things including the past and what I was currently up to. This would all be recorded and posted for viewing. I must say that when you are told something, you do not necessarily comprehend what the scope of what is being said. Luckily in my case the scope was perfect.
When I arrived in L.A. I immediately began to reflect on the many times I had flown into this city. Some of these times were during my good days and others were not. While waiting for my Super Shuttle I tried to understand these times as an outsider with my mind today. This was interesting. Not interesting in the sense that they were amazing, or tragic or meaningful, but interesting in the sense that I was looking back at a kid who was missing a piece of the puzzle. I could not help but think that if I were to be back in any of the situations that I was reflecting on, everything would be different. It was almost like when you’re a child and you see a movie that was so scary and so real to you that it formed some of your views on people and current events in your life. As you grew older and view this movie again, it seems benign and almost absurd. You can not believe that this had any impact. This is the way I felt.
Once the Super Shuttle arrived I tossed this line of thought and decided to focus on the experience now. Now the first experience was not that exciting. I had forgotten how long these shuttles take. For the love of god, 2 hours, maybe this is proof that patience is lost with age. My next experience was great. Chris, who I mentioned above, picked me up from the hotel and brought me to Mickey’s. The remodel was amazing. They really hit the mark. I was greeted by James, a kind gentleman with a gift bag filled with chocolate, t-shirts and a hat with my name on it. This was quite the treat. He immediately made me feel that people were happy that I was there. I also met Scott at this point, who was right up my alley. I new right away that it would be a fun interview. After getting my scotch I turned to see Lana Luster, a friend from the past. He said that he had seen my name on the bill and had come to see me. This was awesome. Now I had old friends here. For the next half hour we all sat at the bar and had a drink like any friends at any bar. Before I knew it, I was on. James, Lana, Scott, Chris and I headed upstairs to start the interview.
Now, I said a scotch, well as the interview went on, it turned into scotches. This made the interview fun. We all have had the pleasure of having a few drinks and spending time bullshitting with your friends. This is what is felt like. There were easy questions and hard questions, but none that left a bad taste in my mouth. During the breaks I walked around the audience and talked to people. This was just as enjoyable as the interview. I felt like I had walked into a group of people that I had already known. Now I know that they knew me from the movies, but it still had that hometown feel to it. You will have to watch the interview. It is available through Mickey’s website. I think that if I were to try to describe it I would not do the interview justice.

The Week Before...
Hello and welcome back to another installment of “Biggest Loser Porn Star Edition”
This is the final week before I go down to Mickey’s in LA. We will see how my little project went. So far, the process has been a blast. It has given me a challenge that I have been enjoying. I also have an unwelcomed announcement. The official release of my serialized book has been moved to August 30th . I apologize for this, but was told that August 30th would be less rushed and would allow for a stronger release. Since I said July 30, I am going to leak a bit about the Butt Rocker, the Floor Waxer and the trashy day time talk show. This is for you boywriter.
Let’s start out with the quest for the porn body. Before I do so I want to define the mission. Originally I was going to do a solo scene simply to refresh my face so younger people would know who the hell I am. Younger people, this makes me sound like and old fart! When I turned in the picture and rightly was rejected, I saw something fun for the blog and a challenge. That being said, the challenge is for a studio or magazine to say yes for a shoot or solo scene. After this, we have won. I love challenges and process and saw this as a fun one. It has been unbelievably fun. I love going into the gym each day, pushing myself beyond what I would normally do. I love having the defined timeline which gets me in when I do not especially want to go. Like I said in an earlier blog, it reminds me of bodybuilding when I was in high school. Along with all of this, writing about it adds a great new facet to the process. Writing makes you think things through more deeply. Thinking through what you are doing and why you are doing it, brings on a much deeper involvement and enjoyment to the process. Evan suggested I post my workout strategy, which I will. I strongly suggest, as an addition to any work out or goal you have, write about the goal weekly. I have been interested in physical fitness and weightlifting for a long time and have tried many things. Writing about what I am doing is immensely helpful.
OK the work out strategy. I use a strategy that I find works best for me. Remember that we are all different, with different body types. When I was power lifting, I ate much more food and left two minutes or more in between sets. This is good for strength, but not shape. Now I leave a maximum of 45 seconds between sets. For each body part I do a giant set, a strip down set or a super set for at least one of the exercises. I strive to do two of these for each body part. A giant set is when you do a series of three exercises in sequence without rest for a body part. Example: Chest I would do a bench press, dumbbell press and a fly as one set. A strip down set means that you would take one exercise and start at 90% of your max, immediately strip down to 50% of your max and then strip down to 30% of your max. This equals one set. You can do this with any exercise. And lastly, a superset is a combination of two exercises in succession. The idea is you shock the muscle into growth, while burning fat through the sheer speed of the process. I have also stopped driving to the gym, instead riding my bike. It is good aerobic exercise and I think that by riding my bike to the gym, working out at a high intensity, then riding home, I gain a secondary fat burning benefit because for a couple of hours my body is in constant motion. I have placed an example chest work out below and will start posting different workouts each week. I suggest checking with a doctor before doing any workout, especially one of this intensity.
Chest:
Bench Press- 4 Sets of strip down
Incline press cable crossover super set 4 sets of 10-12
Flat bench fly 4 sets of 8-12
Any machine press for burn out 2 sets of 20
Now, for boywriter: I am letting out who the Butt Rocker and Floor Waxer are, as well as what the hell trashy day time talk shows have to do with anything. I will make this brief as not to give away too much. When I was 17, turning 18, I worked at a gas station from 4PM to Midnight. My boss was a Butt Rocker (see example picture). He had a biker jacket, a blond mullet and loved Slayer. He used to get me stoned in the cooler every night I worked. As a teenager this was a pretty sweet job. Every Thursday a guy would come in to wax the floors. For about a month my boss and I were trying to decide if this guy was a stoner. Finally I just asked him. What the hell was he going to do besides say yes or no, right? Well he said yes. We now had an addition to our circle of trust. That week my boss and I had been looking for something to fashion a pipe out of. I rummaged through the storage room and found a wrapping paper role about 3 feet long. Just like Macgyver, we grabbed a knife, some tin foil and an assortment of color pens and created what was to be known as the Tube of Power.
Thursday came around and the Floor Waxer showed up. We immediately grabbed him, took him in back and showed him this new invention. Needless to say the floors always looked like crap after this,
Well one night huddled in the back room talking about how we were going to save the world, my boss pipes up and tells me that he was watching one of those Jerry Springer type shows. They had these male dancers on and he said that they were no bigger than I was and that I should try it. The floor waxer thought that it was a great idea too. As some of you know, there are times in our lives when everything is a good idea and this was one of those times. This is where I will stop. Official release date of “Going out on Top”, August 30th.

A change of pace
Hello all and happy Sunday, the end to another wonderful week. I hope all of you had a good week as well. For those of you who have been following my blog and those of you who have just tuned in - I am still on my quest to get my body back in shape in order to do a solo scene. I have continued my regime filled with ass kicking in the morning and a dose of thunder at night. Ok, it is not all that dramatic, but I am still working towards this goal and enjoying it more and more each day. It is not just the end result of that I enjoy, but the process as well. I like having purpose when I go to the gym. It gets a little monotonous when you are simply going through the movements. I also did an interview with Vince Lambert on Saturday. I have interviewed with him in the past and find him easy to talk to. This makes for a good interview. I imagine this is why he has done so well for so long.
Now, since constantly talking about myself can get boring (I know that you are all saying “no way” ha ha) I thought that I would shift gears on this post. My mind was consumed by one thing today. This was a dream that I had that caught my attentions on several levels. Now, I want to preface all of this with the fact that I am no Sigmund Freud, so my interpretation of my dream, or thoughts about the dream, may be complete mumbo jumbo. I simply found myself engulfed by it and though I would share. I would like to get your take on it as well.
I will start with the dream. For the sake of the blog, I will abbreviate. I am not sure how I got there, but I was outside of a building that, to me looked like a school. The school was older and single story. Oddly enough, I think that I have seen this same building in another dream. The school seemed like it was being used for a business, but I could not tell what kind. The business itself seemed very relaxed. I walked around the building and found a truck trailer, one of the bigger ones. There were about twenty people hanging out in this trailer, some of them I felt I knew and one that I knew for sure. His stage name was Puma. He danced at a club I worked at in Seattle when I was about 19. After recognizing him I immediately felt comfortable with the group in the trailer. We started talking and shooting the shit as anyone would do. After few minutes of this, Puma stood up and stated that he was sick of my crap and wanted to fight me. Before we go on, two things are important here: 1. I have never been in a fight and do not believe in violence as an answer or solution to any conflict, big or small. 2. Puma was a nice guy. I never had any issue with him. I told him that I did not want to fight him and whatever the problem was, I was sure that we could work it out. He persisted and finally attacked me. I tried to stop him by grabbing him and bringing him to the ground, where I would hold him until he calmed down. It seemed like a quick struggle with me stopping him without problem.
Now, this is where it gets interesting. Once the struggle was over, everyone started telling me how they could not believe that I had just beat up Puma. Puma had apparently known karate and was not easily beaten. I kept telling them that I did not beat him up. I just wanted to stop him so we could work it out. I told them that violence left nothing resolved. Things at this point got hazy and I moved on to the next point in the dream where I was in court for this struggle. The judge was saying that I had allowed this fight to go on and that I was at fault. I had tried again to explain that he had attacked me and that I only wanted to stop him so we could resolve our issue. Puma was there and said nothing. The dream continued on with me slowly losing everything because of this act of violence. I lost friends, family, trust that people had in me, money, and much more until I finally had nothing and was devastated. This all was the result from me, in a sense using violence.
This dream stuck with me all day because of how that situation, and my reaction to it, set off a chain reaction that had destroyed me. In my head, during the dream, it was the fight that I had entered into that had brought all of this on and if I had chosen a different solution, I may not have lost everything.
Now I have a lot of dreams, but not many force me to ponder them for very long. This one did. Let me know your thoughts, Also, there is no picture on this post, but check out Vince Lamberts article. I sent him a new one.
